I've always used drawing as a form of release, it kind of kept me sane during some tough times, which weren't really that tough but i used to whine a lot about it. Then i met some people with real problems in their lifes and suddenly my life just seemed pretty good.

A few years back i got really into webcomics especially into David Stanworth's SNAFU, wich, as you may notice, was a HUGE inspiration to me. Still there are 2 crucial difference between both comics 1) My comic doesnt have a retarded character (or maybe i have 2, is hard to tell) 2) There should be way more girls in my comic. And that's basically it please dont sue me David.

As for the actual concept, Silly Tabs is a comic about me and my best friend Marcos. We were supposed to be BFFs and move in together for university but the lil B#$%H betrayed me for a succesful carreer as a lawyer, can you believe him?! So this is were Silly Tabs comes in, rather than being a comic about me and my life, is a comic about me and how i'd like my life to be. This means that the situations portrayed on this comic may or may not be based on events that happened on real life. Wich brings us to the reason of why i decided to make a comic. I decided to make a comic to basically reinvent myself, to try and become a more social, more outgoing, more sarcastic and more shameless person, also because i have this crazy missconception that having a webcomic is somehow going to get me laid.

Now about the style, over the years i've drawn a lot, still the only style that i can only call my own are this corpse bride chibis i came out with after watching the movie. I had a really hard time drawing hands back then and i still do, thats why all my characters have hooks for hands and retractible thumbs wich only come out when its absolutely necessary. I'm not a recognized artist, nor a good one for that matter. Still that wasn't going to stop me on making my own webcomic.

I designed the website completely wich is why it sucks so much, Marcos explained the basics of web designing to me and i did the rest on Dreamweaver. For the comic i used Walrus script, and thank god for that, i'd probably wouldnt have been able to do all this without it.
